Making international calls from your world cell phone has never been easier than with your prepaid Israel SIM card. All rates are per minute for international outgoing calls from an Israel prepaid SIM card while in Israel.

Coverage
Activating your service
Your Israel mobile phone number is printed under a bar code on the Cellcom envelope and begins 052.
To activate your service:
- Travel to Israel.
- Be sure that the battery is adequately charged.
- Insert the SIM card into your GSM phone*.
- Turn your phone on.
- Enter the PIN code.
- Dial *778 and press 0 at the voice prompt to activate your service
- Start calling.
* You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the SIM card into your international mobile phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your mobile phone.
Making and receiving calls
How to make a call
To make an international call from your Israel mobile phone dial 00 (or +), followed by the country code (1 for the US), area code and phone number.
How family and friends call you
Family and friends need to dial the international prefix, the country code 972 and your mobile phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero).
For example, when calling from the United States, callers need to dial 011 972 and then your mobile phone number.
Recharging your account
Recharging your Israel service has never been easier. After your initial airtime has depleted you simply purchase a Cellcom recharge card at most local tabac shops, convenience stores, petrol stations, or Cellcom authorized dealers. To recharge your Israel service, simply follow the instructions below.
- Scratch off the protective layer to reveal your recharge voucher code
- Dial *777 and press 1
- Enter the recharge voucher code (long number) followed by #
- Confirm this by entering the PIN (short number) followed by #
Contacting Customer Service
Customer service for your Israel SIM card is available 24/7 by dialing *333 from your Israel mobile phone.
Service life
Your Israel service has an initial validity period of 12 months. To keep your Israel service active, you need to recharge your service at least once within these 12 months. Failing to do so will result in your cell phone number to be recycled and any remaining airtime to become forfeit. In order to continue using your Israel service, you will need to purchase another SIM card.
