Working with Individual contacts

Contacts contain the details for individuals. For information about setting up groups see working with groups.

Adding a contact

  1. In the top navigation menu, click Messages.
    * The 'Inbox' page will open.
  2. In the top navigation, select Messages and then click Address book in the drop down menu.
    * The 'Address book' page will open.
  3. Click Create New to the right of the word: Individuals
    * The 'Edit Contact' page appears.
  4. Select the folder, from the drop down menu, that you want to store the contact in.
    * You don't have to select a folder if you don't want to. No folder is set by default.
  5. Type the person's nickname. This is required—you must type a nickname for the contact.
  6. Type details in any of the other fields. This is optional—you are not required to type anything here. When you enter a fax number type the country code, area code, and fax number.
  7. Click Add this contact.
    * The 'Address book' page appears showing the new contact in your address book.

Editing a contact

  1. In the top navigation menu, click Messages.
    * The 'Inbox' page will open.
  2. In the top navigation, select Messages and then click Address book in the drop down menu.
    * The 'Address book' page will open.
  3. Click Edit in the Edit column for the contact you want to change.
    * Edit is underlined to show it is a hyperlink to the 'Edit Contact' page.
  4. Type over the details you want to change, then click Update this contact.
    * The 'Address book' page appears. If you changed any of the information that appears in the 'Address book' page, you can see the change in the entry of your address book.

Deleting a contact

  1. In the top navigation menu, click Messages.
    * The 'Inbox' page will open.
  2. In the top navigation, select Messages and then click Address book in the drop down menu.
    * The 'Address book' page will open.
  3. Click Delete in the Delete column for the contact you want to delete.
    * You will then be asked if you are sure you want to delete the selected entry from your address book.
  4. Click on OK to delete.
    * The updated address book appears without the contact you deleted.
